Locker Architectural bespoke metal mesh ceilings are popular with architects due to their sustainability, functionality and contemporary aesthetic.

By varying the mesh pattern, specification and finish, a huge range of beautiful and unique visual effects can be created.  Ceiling mesh can be opaque or transparent, with a shiny natural metallic finish or matt powder coating.

The stunning wire mesh ceiling for the 1000m2 British Museum exhibition hall perfectly complements subtle lighting while effectively concealing vents, diffusers and ducting, and providing easy access for maintenance. Anodised aluminium Brocklebank 16/5 wire mesh with an increased aperture (to accommodate the swirl diffuser) was used to reduce both weight and cost.

Warsaw University Wedge Wire Cladding Project Detail 12

Radius wedge wire was used to create celling grilles at Warsaw University, Poland. This design provided a modern, light weight ceiling that also concealed the electric lighting, and was easy to install.

Reflex wedge wire was used to create the celling grilles that were installed at Makrochem, Poland. This design provided a modern, light weight ceiling that also concealed the electric lighting, and was easy to install.
